Rainy monday mornings called for something a bit more heartwarming than my usual banana, frozen blueberries, muesli and yog combo. Made a delicious, filling, healthy breakfast that basically tasted like dessert and appeased my sweet tooth.

Chopped up a pear and a banana, drizzled with honey, a large sprinkle of cinnamon, a teaspoon of peanut butter and popped the whole thing in the microwave for about a minute. Heating it up caramelises both fruits and melts the peanut butter slightly so it ends up being a amazing glob of goodness. The pear also releases its juices, and mixed with low fat plain yoghurt and muesli to top it off, it really is divine. There really is nothing like a warm breakfast on a cold, rainy May morning.
